We're not fighting the people around us

The pull to check out, coast, or go it alone doesn't come from our wives, our kids, or the guy in the next pew. Ephesians 6 names the real target — forces we can't see, working to isolate good men before they even notice it's happening.

Men's Advance exists so none of us stand there alone. We're gathering to worship together, remember what this is actually for, and figure out — together — how we lead our families and serve this community the way Jesus did.

What the first night looks like

Worship

Voices together in one room before anything else happens.

Communion

Remembering what all of this is actually for.

A real meal

Cooked, shared, and unhurried — because good conversation needs a table.

Honest conversation

What it looks like to lead our families and serve our community with real, God-given purpose.

Service projects

First look at what's coming next, with a chance to sign up.

Smaller group fellowship

Ways to keep this going beyond one night, in groups built for depth.

The armor we put on together

Seven pieces, one passage, and a practical question for each: what does this look like for me this week?

Ephesians 6:14

The belt of truth

No more performing. Say what's actually true, starting at home.

Ephesians 6:14

The breastplate of righteousness

Guard your heart before you guard your reputation.

Ephesians 6:15

Feet ready to move

Show up ready to serve, not just react to whatever the week throws at you.

Ephesians 6:16

The shield of faith

Put out the doubt and fear before it spreads to your family.

Ephesians 6:17

The helmet of salvation

A mind settled on who you are in Christ, not on what the week says about you.

Ephesians 6:17

The sword of the Spirit

The one weapon we're actually given. Know it well enough to use it.

Ephesians 6:18

Prayer, at all times

Staying alert for each other. Nobody advances alone.
